The predicted salary is between 26 - 28 £ per hour.

Location: Cambridgeshire, UK

Rate: £34-35 per hour PAYE (33 days Paid Holiday and Pension)

Hours: 37 hours per week - 8:30am start - 7.5 hours Monday to Thursday & 7 hours Friday.

Duration: 12 Months with possibility of perm hire.

We are working with an international company that manufactures engines for marine and construction vehicle applications. With increasing scrutiny from regulators, customers, investors, and our client's board, the role of engine emissions compliance has never been more important. We are now looking for a Compliance Engineer to join the company's engineering team. This is an opportunity for a technically skilled, proactive professional to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic global environment.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain awareness and understanding of worldwide emissions regulations for engines.
  • Champion proactive engagement with global regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Resolve complex compliance issues across multiple products and territories.
  • Support and align compliance processes between the UK, US, and India teams.
  • Ensure robust execution of compliance processes across all regions.
  • Create and continuously improve process documentation.
  • Prepare and submit conformance reports to governmental agencies.

  • Strong knowledge of engines; engineering degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with IT tools that enhance process efficiency (e.g., Alteryx) is a plus.
  • Ability to translate technical and regulatory information into clear guidance.

  • Confident, articulate communicator, able to influence and lead resolutions.
