Our client provides essential bulk storage and distribution facilities that support the nation's energy requirements and is recognised as a key player in the UK's critical national infrastructure and as part of its future energy framework. A new key role of Programme Manager has been created as part of their Value Creation Plan project.
This will suit an individual who has experience in the Oil and Gas/Energy sector.
Contract: 2 Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Negotiable Salary + Annual Bonus
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days per week site meetings)
The role: You will lead the planning, coordination, and tracking of the company's Value Creation Plan. This role will operate at the centre of the transformation programme working across functions to drive integration activities, manage dependencies, and provide transparent reporting to senior leadership.
Key Accountabilities:
- Value Creation Plan: Developing and maintaining an integration plan covering all transformation and value creation initiatives.
- Programme Planning and Tracking: Establish and manage detailed project plans, milestones, and critical paths. Track progress against plan.
- Governance and Reporting: Implement a robust framework.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with finance, commercial, HR to ensure alignment. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Required Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Programme Manager in the Oil & Gas sector and will be comfortable working on strategic level projects at board level.
- Track record of business transformation.
- Highly analytical.
- Demonstrable experience of reporting at board level.
- Demonstrable experience of project governance.
