Production Planner (x10) - DV Cleared - On-site (Aldermaston & Burghfield) - 18-month contract (Inside IR35)

We’re recruiting 10 Production Planners for a high-profile programme, working on-site only across Aldermaston and Burghfield (no remote working). Active DV Clearance is required.

Key details

  • Role: Production Planner (x10)

  • Location: Aldermaston & Burghfield - full time on-site attendance required

  • Contract: 18 months

  • Engagement: Inside IR35

  • Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience.

  • Systems: SAP plus strong understanding of ERP / MRP2

Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Rough Cut Capacity Planning models.

  • Develop and detail methods of manufacture in line with tasking, balancing time, cost and quality.

  • Keep the local MRP system accurate and up to date.

  • Plan and release customer requirements to Manufacturing/Operations within required timescales.

  • Produce manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operational times where appropriate.

  • Ensure compliance with inventory control processes.

  • Apply Lean Planning and Production Control tools (visual management, Kanban, push/pull).

  • Bring proven experience from an operational, production, and/or supply chain environment.
