Rhino Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our valued client for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their growing team.

Their client base is predominantly commercial – care homes, fire stations, universities and more.

The Role

As a Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of domestic gas work, including servicing, repairs, fault finding, and installations.

You'll work in occupied and unoccupied properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on boilers and central heating systems.
  • Carry out gas safety inspections and issue relevant certification.
  • Complete installations where required.
  • Ensure compliance with current gas safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Accurately complete job reports and required documentation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while representing the client professionally.
  • One in four weekends on call

Requirements

  • Current ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a domestic Gas Engineer.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Own basic tools required.
