Rhino Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a permanent Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a successful main contractor based in Newport. Their projects include roofing, shop fit outs, maintenance, general builds and M&E.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Pricing works and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
  • Assisting with procurement and commercial management of projects
  • Monitoring costs and supporting financial reporting through the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Background in Quantity Surveying / Estimating within construction
