This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional with strong programming and machining experience to join a supportive and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components to exacting standards.

- Set up CNC milling machines, ensuring the correct tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters are applied.
- Operate CNC milling equipment to produce high-quality precision components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop, optimise, and improve machining processes to maximise efficiency and quality.
- Produce and maintain accurate setup sheets, machine programmes, and production documentation.
- Carry out routine inspections to ensure components meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling design and optimisation projects, including plastics injection moulding applications.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in accordance with company procedures.
- Proven experience programming CNC milling machines using Edgecam.
- Strong understanding of CNC milling operations and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to create and maintain setup sheets and technical documentation.
- Experience selecting and setting up tooling for a variety of materials, including plastics.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good mathematical skills with an understanding of tolerances, measurements, and machining calculations.
- Knowledge of plastics injection moulding processes.
- Experience working with tooling design or mould tool manufacture.
- Experience optimising machining strategies and production efficiency.
