Rate: 17 per hour basic, 25.50 overtime Full-time | Temp to Perm Monday Thursday 07:00-17:00, Friday s potential overtime Workshop-based with occasional site work Rhino Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established engineering business, who are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Welder / Fabricator to join their friendly and skilled team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Welder / Fabricator who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on varied and interesting engineering projects.
The successful candidate will be joining a diverse engineering environment, with exposure to machine shop operations, ferrous and non-ferrous fabrication, fitting and site-based engineering work.
The role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to develop your career within the business, with potential progression into positions such as Foreman or Estimator for the right individual.
The Role As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated and welded components, working from engineering drawings and sketches and using a range of welding processes.
Your duties will include: Working accurately from engineering drawings, fabrication drawings and sketches.
TIG, MIG and MMA welding of stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.
