Rhino Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator on behalf of a busy manufacturing client based in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machinery within the aluminium window, door, and curtain walling sector, specifically working with Kawneer and/or Metal Technology systems. This role is suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set CNC machinery for aluminium fabrication
- Manufacture aluminium window, door, and curtain wall components to specification
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules
- Programme, adjust, and monitor CNC machines where required
- Work with Kawneer and Metal Technology profiles and systems
- Carry out quality inspections on finished products
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within production deadlines
- Maintain machinery and keep work areas clean and safe
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards
Essential Requirements
- Proven CNC operating experience within aluminium manufacturing
- Previous experience working with Kawneer and/or Metal Technology window and door systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and machining techniques
- High attention to detail and quality standards
