Rhino Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fire Stopping / Plastering Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing fire safety solutions provider.
The Client
Our client is a respected name in the fire protection industry, delivering high-quality fire safety services across the UK. They specialise in fire detection systems, alarms, extinguishers, and risk assessments, working to the highest industry standards and accreditations.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in passive fire protection. The role is ideal for candidates with a background in construction, plastering, drylining, or general maintenance. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on training and industry-recognised qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of passive fire protection systems
- Carrying out plastering and drylining works
- Working in line with RAMS and health & safety regulations
- Reading and interpreting site drawings
- Working across residential, commercial, and care environments
- Ensuring all work meets required compliance standards (e.g. FIRAS)
- Communicating progress and any site issues
- Working independently and as part of a team
Skills & Attributes
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Basic understanding of tools and measurements
- Full UK driving licence
