Rhino Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join our client's team to be based out of Bedwas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites. This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated engineer who takes pride in quality workmanship, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Fault finding and rectification
- Working in accordance with BS5839 and current regulations
- Completing job reports and certification accurately
- Liaising professionally with clients, site managers and office staff
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong knowledge of BS5839
- Experience with conventional and addressable systems (e.g. Gent, Notifier, Apollo, Advanced, C-Tec – desirable)
- ECS / CSCS card (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
