Shift Patterns
- Sunday 08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:00
- Sunday 08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:00
- (Sunday shift does not go live until 1st November 2026)
We require Warehouse Operatives and Reach/VNA Drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Be able to manually handle heavy items/lifting.
- Unloading and loading containers with heavy furniture - this will involve two-person liftting.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and adhered
- Ensure that you are working to the customer requirements, relevant SOPS and achieving the business KPI’s.
- Tipping of trailers that will contain cartons of products ordered by our customers. This will require some form of lifting and building of pallets.
- Booking deliveries in once received using handheld scanners. This work is usually completed on a loading bay dock.
- Putting away the products that have entered the warehouse into allocated locations.
This will require some form of lifting and walking around the warehouse (training will be provided if required to operate machineries).
- Carrying out picking tasks according to customer requirements.
This will require some form of lifting and walking around the warehouse and will need to be completed within agreed timescales.
- Scanning, packing and labelling of orders that need to be dispatched to customers. This will usually take place at a packing station which will require standing.
- Completing rework requirements that are stipulated by the customer. This will usually take place at a workstation which will require standing.
- Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard completed in timely manner to able next stage to be carried out.
- Ensure all consumables and equipment are treated with care and returned to the correct place after use.
- Undertake other responsible tasks that may be required from time to time as directed by the needs of the business and/or your Line Manager
- Ensure that each activity is logged accurately.
- Ensure that time sheets or equivalent system are updated throughout the shift.
