Transport Controller / Planner
Location – Cannock Depot – on site
Hours – 37.5 hrs pw. Mon – Fri 12pm - 8pm
We are recruiting for a UK Transport Controller / Planner. The Transport Controller / Planner is responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of UK road freight collections and deliveries, ensuring customer requirements are met while maximising operational efficiency. The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication with hauliers and customers, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transport environment.
The successful candidate will ensure all transport activities are completed in line with company procedures, customer expectations, and compliance requirements while maintaining accurate records across internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate UK road freight collections and deliveries.
- Ensure customer requirements are met while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transport environment.
- Complete transport activities in line with company procedures, customer expectations, and compliance requirements.
