Key Responsibilities
- Liaise and build relationships across all areas of the business.
- Liaise with Commercial Team – the role will include working closely with the customer and our commercial teams to develop the current and future customer strategies.
- Promote the culture for ‘Staff Engagement’ and ‘Continuous Improvement’.
- Planning, monitoring and organising staff to achieve day to day activities.
- Managing and following through with customer queries.
- Ensure any activity logs are kept up to date.
- Ensure all appropriate reports are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all employee activity is captured using warehouse shop floor data capture system.
- Comply with all relevant Health & Safety measures.
- Ensure warehouse housekeeping is maintained to 5S standards.
- Conduct appropriate employee administration related tasks such as Return to work, investigations, holiday planning etc.
- Provide solutions to team issues taking into account policies and ethical practices.
- Effective performance management of staff including provision of timely and accurate performance reviews.
- Promote and adhere to accident reporting, security and health and safety procedures.
- Ownership of stock accuracy maintenance in your area: investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support stock takes - when requested (note this will typically include weekends from time to time).
- Create and maintain a positive team culture and work ethic, encouraging involvement from all team members.
- Must be flexible with working hours to suit business needs especially during peak.
- Attend development or policy training as requested by the business.
