Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships.

Develop and manage an active sales pipeline, identifying, progressing, and securing new opportunities.

Collaborate closely with product and pricing teams to create competitive value propositions.

Independently manage customer appointments and on‑site visits.

Maintain all appointments and opportunities in the CRM system, ensuring high data quality and adherence to sales KPIs.

Prepare and share detailed customer visit reports internally.

Follow customer onboarding processes and support the creation of SOPs to ensure operational excellence.

Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder networks.

Attend UK sales and other internal meetings as required.

Participate in weekly meetings with the Commercial Manager (via Teams or face‑to‑face).

Candidate's Profile

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial sales role.
  • Strong commercial awareness of customers and industries within Air & Ocean Freight.
  • Proven experience in Air & Ocean sales and operations.
  • Ability to develop value‑adding customer solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, and target‑driven.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience preparing client proposals and quotations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
