Job Description
What you can expect: We are recruiting for a Working within a busy Ocean department – to work within a team to receive bookings from overseas offices, to complete all ocean export requirements for both LCL and FCL. Main Duties
- Receiving bookings from overseas offices
- Raising files within Rhenus software system
- Preparation of shipping instructions
- Speaking to shipping lines / carriers
- Checking vessel departures
- Ensuring correct documentation is presented / obtained
- Costing files
- Raising invoices to overseas offices
- File queries
Key Competencies

Skills and Experience
- Experience in Ocean Export processes is essential
- Experience of Customs procedures, including Duty/VAT process on imports is desirable
- Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry is essential
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Package – Word, Excel
- Training on in-house systems provided in full

- GCSE Math (A level an advantage)
