We are looking for a UK Internal Sales person. Working in conjunction with the UK Internal Sales Manager and the Group Commercial Team, you will have a fantastic opportunity to join the Rhenus UK Sales Team as an Internal Sales Co‑ordinator. Your role will be integral to the growth and development of our branch’s existing customer base, as well as introducing new customers along the way.
The internal sales team proactively develops spot quotes, increasing quotation enquiries, leading to shipment growth across the UK, and improving conversion rates and gross margin. This also includes the proactive implementation of our IT Solutions Freight Portal – Weborder. Full training on all of our systems and services will be provided within the first three months.
This will be managed by full engagement with direct customers promoting the Rhenus strengths. At Rhenus, we believe everyone plays a crucial role. What You Bring:
- Excellent organisational skills, and an ability to work under pressure and within a timeframe.
- A general overall knowledge of the basic Windows packages, and the ability to learn quickly the web portals of the clients.
- Be a confident and sharp-witted individual, but with an ability to be a member of a team, working in conjunction with fellow colleagues.
- Excellent telephone and email manner.
- Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Much preferred is the ability to be pro-active and be prepared to react to ever changing requirements.
- Previous admin experience required.
- Previous customer service experience advantageous.
Skills and Experience:
- Highly competent computer skills across all areas of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience working within customer service would be an advantage.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs in Maths and English, or equivalent.
- Degree and/or relevant professional body membership (where applicable).
