Main Duties
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support the accounting team in daily financial tasks.
- Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Prepare, check and post journals.
- Prepare self–evident balance sheet reconciliations.
- Resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Prepare supporting evidence for and respond to audit queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Learn and apply accounting principles and practices under the guidance of management accountants.
Key Competencies and Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exposure to a large ERP system, preferably SAP.
