This role is the Government Furnished Asset (GFA) Manager; responsible for ensuring GFA issued to Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is managed appropriately. The GFA Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of Government Furnished Equipment and company assets across the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) programme, ensuring compliance with MOD standards and supporting the delivery of training capabilities through effective asset governance, tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Rheinmetall Public Stores Account (PSA) in accordance with DEF STAN 05-099 and DEFCON 694.
  • Oversee the delivery, receipt, inspection, acceptance, rejection and return of GFA using MOD Forms (e.g. 650, 651, 750).
  • Produce company procedures and processes for handling GFA.
  • Manage loss, status and disposal reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Omnia GFA Lead, Site Custodians, customer representatives and supply chain partners to ensure accurate asset tracking and accountability.
  • Provide input into obsolescence management activities.
  • Work with the Export Manager to ensure compliance with export control regulations.
  • Work with the commercial and subcontract managers to ensure compliance with IP governance requirements.
  • Oversee asset audits and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in asset management.
  • In depth understanding of MOD GFA DEFCON and DEFSTANs.
  • Experience of managing a Public Stores Account and MOD documentation.
  • Ability to use asset management tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Highly organised with ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-solving and correction abilities.
