The business is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual willing to assume a wide range of responsibilities within a dynamic and evolving environment. Reporting directly to the IT Support Manager, you will provide vital technical support for the ongoing and expanding day-to-day IT needs of the business.
This strategic role provides the critical 3rd line technical skills required to support this transition and drive the long-term growth of our Information Management & Technology (IM&T) division.
The primary location for this role is our Telford Manufacturing facility, with occasional UK travel required to support our other RDUK sites.
Position Responsibilities: Insourcing & Transition Support: Provide the high-level technical expertise required to successfully migrate services from the outsourced vendor to the internal IM&T team.3rd Line Escalation: Act as the ultimate internal technical authority for resolving complex systems incidents and supporting the escilations to our 3rd party vendors where required.
Telford Site Support: Manage and maintain the primary IT infrastructure, server rooms, and localized hardware & software assets at the Telford Manufacturing facilityCross-Site Mobility: Travel occasionally to secondary Rheinmetall Defence UK facilities to support deployments, upgrades, and local infrastructure projects. xohmjla Continuous Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively implement modern IT solutions to support a rapidly expanding user base.
