Rheinmetall Weapon Munitions UK Ltd. (RWM UK) is part of Germany's largest defence engineering company Rheinmetall AG based in Düsseldorf (Germany). We design, manufacture and support military large‑calibre weapon systems used by the British Army and international customers. RWM UK is now starting a new production site in Telford.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Material requirements planning (SAP‑MRP) and material scheduling
  • Regular coordination with dispatchers/production controllers at the main plant in Germany
  • Production control, scheduling of production orders
  • Continuous monitoring of the schedule situation from internal production and external materials
  • Creation of SAP‑purchase‑requests, SAP‑production‑orders, SAP‑shipping‑requests (AzV) and collection requests (AzA)
  • Timely provision of materials in production
  • Coordination in the context of meetings and/or shop floor meetings with production, logistics, purchasing, etc.
  • Coordination of external and internal material‑flow together with the logistics‑experts

What Qualifications You Should Have:

  • Completed vocational training in a technical profession with further training as a master craftsman or similar
  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering or similar is an advantage
  • Experience in materials planning/order processing as Material dispatcher/Production controller
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Good IT and computer skills
  • Affinity for numbers, data and facts
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, as part of a team, or individually
  • Motivated and disciplined with an excellent work ethic, technical aptitude, continuous improvement mind‑set and can demonstrate attention to detail
  • Motivated to set up a new production for large calibre weapons systems in the UK (Telford)
