What We Are Looking For
The role supports Programme and Portfolio Management through the delivery of accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and ERP data management (SAP).
It ensures financial transparency and control across projects while maintaining alignment with company financial strategy and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in financial data analysis within a technology-led manufacturing environment, with a proven history of implementing robust controls and delivering accurate reporting across cross-functional engineering, operations, and finance stakeholders.
This is a finance-led role, focused on data, reporting, and financial performance.
Accountability for project delivery, scope, and schedule remains with Project Managers.

- What Qualifications You Should Have
Essential
- Experience in project finance, project control, or FP&A, ideally in manufacturing or defence
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Knowledge of managing project financials within a complex environment.
- Advanced Excel / data analysis skills
- Understanding of MOD accounting principles including RDEL, CDEL and VAT.
- Understanding of project lifecycle and cost structures in engineering/manufacturing
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity mindset
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance for projects within the UK Defence Sector.

- Experience supporting PMO or programme environments.
- Knowledge of defence or regulated industry requirements
