Ref.-Nr.: UK00919Schedule type: Full TimeContract Type: Permanent Full-TimeWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORFinancial Reporting & Governance AccountantFull Time, Perm | Bristol | Hybrid Work |FinancePosition OverviewTo ensure the integrity of the Company’s Financial Reporting by preparing statutory financial statement, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards, legal requirements, and supporting the Company’s internal financial governance framework.Rheinmetall strive to operate within a strong governance and control environment promoting a low risk culture, enabling teams to operate effectively for continuous improvement in our practices and procedures.The role provides technical accounting expertise, oversees key financial controls, supports the external audit process and promotes a strong control environment across the business.What You Will DoStatutory Financial ReportingPrepare annual statutory financial statements from the trial balance in accordance with IFRS and applicable legal requirementsProduce all supporting disclosures, accounting notes and technical accounting papers.Review the trial balance to ensure completeness and accuracy before statutory reporting.Support maintenance of accounting policies and ensure they remain compliant with changing accounting standards.Resolve technical accounting issues and provide accounting guidance to the wider finance team.Support Preparation of corporation tax information and other statutory reporting requirements.Internal Governance and Financial ControlSupport maintenance and enhancement of the Company’s Internal Controls FrameworkSupport Internal audit activities and track implementation of agreed actions.Support implementation of governance initiatives arising from organisation or regulatory change.Promote continuous improvement in financial processes, governance and internal controls.Stakeholder managementAct as the primary finance contact for statutory reporting matters.Build effective relationships with operational finance teams, auditors and senior management.WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVEQualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)Strong technical knowledge of IFRSExperience preparing statutory financial statementsGood understanding of internal controls, corporate governance and financial risk management.Experience of ERP system (SAP desirable).WHAT WE OFFER YOUAn opportunity to join the company at a really exciting time of growth and an opportunity to develop this key role in support of that growth.A competitive salary, that also includes an annual incentive based on performance in the role25 days holiday and the option to buy a further 5 daysMatched contribution pension schemePrivate Medical coverSalary sacrifice benefits such as cycle to work and EV schemeFlexible working hours and location split between home and officeCONTACT INFORMATIONContact Person: Iwona Kurpiewska #J-18808-Ljbffr
