Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is entrusted with the Training Delivery aspect of the contract, and this role will be fundamental in enabling this as part of a Rheinmetall Programme team. Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA Training’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win.

As the Finance FP&A Business Partner you will be responsible for delivering all finance reporting, forecasting and analysis for the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) contract with the Prime contractor and Subcontractors – the role will be critical in shaping the success of the programme on behalf of the business. To be successful in the role, you will need to build a strong relationship with the Programme Director and Programme team to drive excellent finance management and advise the team/management on financial topics and implications.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Knowledge and understanding of UK Government projects, preferably defence.
  • Excellent financial modelling skills to Best Practice and Macro standards.
  • Understanding of MOD accounting principles including RDEL, CDEL and VAT.
  • Knowledge and application of IFRS15.
  • Knowledge of managing project financials within a complex environment.
  • Experience of managing finances within a consortium or partnership and Supply Chain relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with ability to develop solutions.
  • Degree qualified in Accountancy, economics or similar.
  • Part qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel.
  • Experience of SAP.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the south of the UK.
  • Holds SC Clearance or capable of achieving SC clearance.
