Our housekeepers uphold the hotel's high standards and make sure we exceed our guests' expectations every time they stop with us. The team maintain our 50 bedrooms and guest areas, attending to all the small details to make sure each guest feels special.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Vacuuming, dusting and cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms, making sure all our rooms and guest areas are clean, tidy and restocked ready for new guests.
- Predominantly working alone, you will ensure that the rooms allocated to you are ready on time and all finishing touches are in place to make guests feel at home.
- Counting and bagging used laundry ready for collection.
- Organising and restocking trolleys to make sure they are ready for the next day.
- Reporting any maintenance work to your supervisor.
Good attention to detail and ability to work at pace in a fairly physically demanding role are essential. You must be comfortable working alone but also able to muck in and work as a team when needed. No experience necessary as full training will be given, although experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role would be of benefit.
