Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2026

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30, 30 minute unpaid break (must be flexible to work between the hours 7:30 and 17:00)

  • Areas of Responsibility
  • Employee Engagement
  • Responsible for HR notice boards. Updating information across all sites.
  • Support with employee engagement activities across the sites, including charity and events.
  • Agency Labour
  • Responsible for the onsite temporary labour provision
  • Act as the contact point for any queries from the agency and operations team
  • Complete agency weekly timesheets and send to the agency suppliers on a weekly basis.
  • Create SFDC logins for all new starters and make sure operations have the relevant data from day 1
  • Liaise with the agencies and Operations team on any requirements or reductions so we have sufficient resource to fulfil customer demands and volumes.
  • Arrange agencies inductions with the relevant providers when required.
  • Responsible for keeping track of the agency holidays, absences and overall Master Sheet data with leavers and new starters etc
  • Liaise with the agencies about any issues with temporary labour daily / Sickness & Holidays
  • Liaise with the agencies about internal updates such as events taking place in workplace
  • Regular face to face meetings with agencies - building relationship with providers.
  • Reporting the agencies headcount on a weekly basis for the business.
  • Compliance
  • Supporting with HR compliance in eligibility to work documentation.
  • Maintaining employee's records, files and spreadsheets in line with data protection legislation.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Supporting with posting job adverts on WORKDAY and across sites.
  • Arranging interviews for candidates.
  • Support with onboarding sessions such as requesting and checking right to work documentation and new starter documentation
  • Supporting with inductions by preparing the relevant training documentation.
  • Preparing and posting announcements across the business.
  • Support with WORKDAY onboarding for blue collar workers.
  • Ad-Hoc
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team where required.
  • An understanding of HR policies & practices.
  • Build positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Filing documentation in the employee's personnel files.
  • Supporting with employee queries where appropriate.
  • Checking the HR post-box at each site.
  • Support with HR Absence line
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • GSCE Maths and English minimum level 1 /2 equivalent
  • Full Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications

  • GSCE Maths and English grade 4 or above or equivalent

  • IT skills, including Advanced Microsoft / Excel / Power Point
  • The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
