We are looking for Warehouse Supervisor to join our t eam and support operations at our Corby Distribution Centre. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and will work as part of our Warehouse team to help fulfil customer orders. W orking 37.5 hours per week over various shift patterns.

What You Bring:
Main Duties:
- To organise and take responsibility for the running of the shift on a weekly /monthly basis and liaise with manager on staffing, holiday and training requirements
- To maintain all relevant databases.
- To conduct back to work interviews and staff disciplinaries following the company process.
- To complete all probationary paperwork for new starters and conduct annual reviews on all staff.
- Communicate with the shift Management team.
- To ensure that all warehouse staff are following the correct procedures.
- Conform and ensure all applicable Standard Operating Procedures for operating practices are being adhered to.
- Conform and ensure all Company policies regarding EHS, Quality, and G.W.P are being adhered to and lead by example.
- Attend regular communication/awareness and training sessions, either given by your line manager or via other presentations.
- Ensure that all warehouse operators are completing tasks within the Warehouse to fulfil the receipt and preparation of orders which are destined for customers are within the pre-set standards.
- In order to complete these tasks training will be provided in any (or all) of the areas listed below.
- If any specific manual handling equipment is required for the task training will be provided.
Skills & Experiences:
- Over 18 years old (due to shift work and MHE).
- Previous Warehouse experience with responsibility as a team leader / supervisor
- Good all round communication and numeracy skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of English (both reading and writing).
- Good eye for detail.
- Where applicable hold a current MHE license necessary for the task (training will be given).
- 3PL background.
- Basic first aid.
- Basic Manual handling / Fire Marshal training
- Good understanding of excel and word and WMS systems
Qualifications:
- A good general standard of education (GCSE or equivalent) is required
- Ability to operative MHE (not essential, as training will be provided where this is essential to the role)
