About the Role
RHC 360 Solutions Recruitment Hub is currently recruiting for a Band 8a Specialist Mental Health Pharmacist to support the Trust (ST16 3SR). The successful candidate may also be required to support The Redwoods Centre in Shrewsbury on occasions. This is a locum role to start ASAP for an initial 12-week period, with a review for potential extension thereafter.
Key Duties
- Providing clinical pharmacy support through ward visits
- Supporting mental health pharmacy services
- Working alongside clinical teams to ensure safe and effective medicines management
- Supporting ACT technicians within the dispensary
- Providing specialist advice in relation to mental health medicines
- Supporting patients and clinical staff with medication-related queries
Applicants must have:
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
- Mental Health pharmacy experience
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Previous ward-based clinical pharmacy experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Right to Work in the UK
- Relevant compliance documents
Please note: Candidates must have both Mental Health and Hospital experience to be considered for this role.
