We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 4 Plumber to support West London NHS Trust on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both routine and non-routine maintenance works across the site, including repairs, planned preventative maintenance, minor installations, and reactive work requests.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Main Duties:
- Carry out new works, repairs, and routine planned maintenance.
- Work on mechanical, heating, hot and cold-water plant, equipment, and services.
- Complete reactive work requests and minor installation tasks efficiently.
- Carry out weekly planned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Escort contractors carrying out inspections and installations.
- Maintain tool lists and comply with Health & Safety and Security Regulations.
- Always follow all Trust policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Services.
- Experience in a mechanical service area such as gas, refrigeration, or heat pumps.
- Water safety training.
- Must be a driver.
- Previous NHS or healthcare maintenance experience would be desirable.
