We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Emerging Technology to support a leading NHS healthcare organisation with its digital innovation and transformation agenda. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior digital leader with strong experience in AI, emerging technologies, digital transformation, innovation portfolio management, stakeholder engagement and healthcare technology adoption. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving forward digital innovation across the organisation, supporting the move towards modern, data‑led and technology‑enabled healthcare services.
Key experience required:
- Senior leadership experience in digital transformation, healthcare innovation or emerging technology
- Strong understanding of AI, advanced analytics, digital health and innovation delivery
- Experience managing digital innovation portfolios from concept to implementation
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, clinical teams, technical teams and external partners
- Experience preparing business cases, managing benefits realisation and supporting return on investment
- Knowledge of NHS digital priorities, data governance, GDPR, DTAC, cyber security or AI ethics would be highly desirable
- Strong communication, influencing and strategic leadership skills
This role would suit someone with a background in digital innovation, healthcare technology, AI implementation, transformation programmes, commercial partnerships or NHS digital strategy.
