We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Administrator / Senior Business Support Officer to support the Nursing Directorate, based at Portland House in Worthing. Please note, although the role may be referred to internally as a Business Manager, this is not a Project Manager position. The responsibilities are more closely aligned with a Senior Administrator / Executive Assistant / Business Support Officer role.
This is a senior business support role providing direct support to the Chief Nursing Officer and the wider Nursing Directorate. The successful candidate will support business management functions, performance reporting, service improvement, diary management, senior meetings, and high-level administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative and business support to the Chief Nursing Officer
- Manage the Chief Officer's diary, priorities, meetings, and commitments
- Organise and service senior-level meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action logs
- Produce, analyse, and present performance and business reports
- Support performance reporting, data analysis, and information processes
- Assist with service planning, improvement, and delivery against targets
- Provide project and business support, including monitoring progress and delegated budgets
- Line manage administrative staff
