Rhames operates from its centrally based headquarters in Nottingham, providing clients with turn-key design, project management, and manufacturing/maintenance services.
Due to continual expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer. Our engineers provide servicing and maintenance on various makes, models, and types of dewatering and thickening equipment, varying in age, application, and condition. This role will predominantly work in the waste water industry, covering areas based around Kent.
Main purpose: Maximising the operating efficiency of machinery including maintenance and installation at customer sites in the UK.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Proactive maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Reactive breakdown diagnostics and response
- Mechanical installations for the process industry including maintenance of centrifuge, drum thickener, and bell press
- Carrying out regular performance/health inspections
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Work with others and contribute to effective working relationships
- Resolve problems in a timely manner
