RHACC provides contemporary, purpose-built art and design facilities for people of all abilities. We want our students to learn from expert tutors and develop their creativity for personal enjoyment or to forward their creative careers.
We are looking for an Interior Design tutor with excellent practical knowledge to provide a vocational, interactive and multi-disciplined delivery of course content. You will have a degree in a related subject and a minimum Level 3 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
RHACC is developing its creative industries provision and is looking for an Interior Design tutor who has fresh ideas and is eager to contribute new course ideas to the curriculum. This will give you the opportunity to shape your own course content and develop courses that are specific to your own particular set of creative skills.
We require a tutor who has experience of planning, teaching and assessment, who can differentiate and provide an inclusive learning environment where equality and diversity are paramount in the development of teaching and learning resources. A successful candidate will have experience of working in an industry that can be used to inspire and influence their learners on their individual creative journeys.
Hours are variable and cover daytimes, evenings and weekends. Tutors work closely with Programme Managers in the designing, planning and delivering courses which stretch and challenge our learners as well as preparing a variety of learning materials, providing guidance to learners on progression options, attending termly meetings and completing course administration. You will have the opportunity to pitch your own ideas for new courses and help shape the Creative Industries provision.
