We’re looking for experienced Risk Professionals for opportunities in Birmingham and Manchester, with the capability to run QSRA (Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis) and support integrated project controls across complex, multi‑stakeholder environments. If you’re someone who can turn uncertainty into insight and help leadership make informed decisions, this is a role where you’ll have real influence. You’ll work at the heart of project performance, supporting risk identification, quantification and mitigation across major work packages. These programmes involve multiple delivery partners, evolving interfaces, and high levels of scrutiny — the kind of environment where strong risk specialists thrive. Your ability to communicate clearly, build trust and present risk intelligence in a way that drives action will be just as important as your technical capability.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Leading the development and maintenance of project and programme risk registers.
  • Running QSRA and supporting QCRA to quantify schedule and cost uncertainty.
  • Working closely with planners to integrate risk outputs into programme forecasts.
  • Facilitating risk workshops with delivery teams, contractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Identifying emerging risks, opportunities and trends early.
  • Supporting the development of mitigation strategies and tracking their effectiveness.
  • Producing clear, concise risk reports for senior leadership and governance boards.
  • Ensuring risk processes align with project controls, change and assurance frameworks.

What can you offer:

  • Strong experience in risk management within infrastructure, rail, utilities, highways, energy or major capital projects.
  • Proven ability to run QSRA using tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran or similar.
  • A confident communicator who can influence, challenge and build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Solid understanding of project controls, planning and cost interfaces.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight.
