RH is seeking a knowledgeable and service-minded Bar & Coffee Associate to deliver a refined and elevated beverage experience that reflects the highest standards of hospitality. In this role, you will guide guests through each phase of their beverage journey, ensuring impeccable quality, consistency, and presentation. Your Responsibilities
- Create a warm and inviting experience by delivering First Class Service that reflects RH’s standards of hospitality.
- Prepare and present cocktails, wine, spirits, and coffee with consistent quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Uphold quality and consistency by adhering to RH’s recipe and service standards for all beverages.
- Engage guests with informed, thoughtful guidance on beverage offerings, including pairings and seasonal selections.
- Maintain the cleanliness, curation, and organization of the Bar, storage areas, and related service spaces.
- Stock, replenish, and rotate bar inventory, including bottles, mixers, glassware, and garnishes, to support uninterrupted service.
- Serve as a brand ambassador by engaging warmly with guests, modeling polished personal presentation, and demonstrating deep knowledge of RH’s full menu, with a focus on beverage offerings.
- Support the flow of service with a “Full Hands In, Full Hands Out” mindset, anticipating guest and team needs and clearing service items as needed.
- Partner with location leadership to perform regular beverage inventory and contribute to achieving service and financial goals.
Our Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in beverage production or service, including knowledge of wine, coffee, and/or cocktails.
- Proficiency in English, due to the international nature of our business and the need to communicate with global teams.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of application at the time of hire.
- Meets the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol, work designated shifts, and perform the full scope of kitchen responsibilities, in accordance with local labor and safety regulations.
- Commitment to high standards of personal appearance, including adherence to uniform guidelines, grooming, and hygiene practices, to ensure a professional presentation to guests.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching, both overhead and below counter height.
- Lifting or moving items up to 25 kgs using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques.
- Standing and walking for extended periods as part of daily work activities.
- Safely ascending and descending stairs, with or without carrying food, beverages, or service equipment.
- Navigating low-lit, busy bar and service areas with attention to safety and control.
- Commitment to proper safety and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environment.
