We are seeking a skilled and reliable Wire EDM Operator to join our client's shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Wire EDM machines (Sodick and Charmilles) and a strong attention to detail in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for running precision wire cutting operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality output with minimal supervision, mainly aerospace components and general engineering parts, to Nadcap and AS9100 rev D standards.

Hours Open to Discussion - 40 hours on Lates can be over 8 hours over 5 Lates or 10 hours over 4 Lates 3:30pm – 11:30pm
Responsibilities of a Wire EDM Operator:- Set up and operate Wire EDM machines on precision components.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet exact tolerances using measuring tools.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality checks.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure uptime.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work independently during night shifts while meeting productivity goals.
- 2+ years of experience in Wire EDM operation (preferred).
- Ideally Apprentice Trained.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with G-codes a plus.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Strong time management and self-motivation for late shift work.
