Job Title: Night Packer – Bakery
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Temporary to permanent (3 months temp, then review)
Hours: Monday & Friday, 2:00 AM – 8:00 AM
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Packer to join a busy bakery in Sheffield. This is a temp-to-perm role – after an initial 3-month period, there is a strong possibility of being taken on permanently. We’re seeking someone interested in a long-term, stable position, not just seasonal work.
What you’ll be doing
- Packing freshly baked products like bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
- Preparing items for dispatch by labelling and boxing them correctly
- Ensuring orders are packed accurately and ready on time
- Keeping the packing area clean and following food safety rules
- Reliable and comfortable with night/early morning shifts
- Physically fit – some lifting and standing required
- Good attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace
- Experience in packing or food production is a bonus, but full training will be given
