We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with van driving responsibilities to join our growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines warehouse operations with local deliveries, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced environment. If you’re organised, reliable, and like a mix of warehouse work and being out on the road, this could be the perfect fit for you.
This position is split between warehouse duties and customer deliveries:
- 75% Warehouse-based work
- 25% Driving and deliveries
No two days are exactly the same — you’ll be an important part of keeping stock moving efficiently while also ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in great condition.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Scanning and labelling stock using warehouse systems
- Wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Conducting stock counts and inventory checks
- Sorting damaged goods and processing returns
- Organising products into correct bays and locations
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
Delivery Duties
- Driving a company van to deliver customer orders to local garages and trade customers
- Safely loading and unloading vehicle
- Handling car parts and automotive products including:
- Brake pads and discs
- Nuts, bolts and fittings
- Wipers and accessories
- Fluids and oils
- Batteries and other vehicle essentials
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)
- Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
- Consistent, full-time hours with overtime opportunities
- £12.21 per hour
- Weekly pay every Friday
- Supportive team environment
- Training provided
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience is beneficial but not required
