Location: Rothwell/Leeds

Salary: £51,480 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (Alt sat 7am – 12pm)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Workshop Facilities: Our workshop provides excellent facilities for our technicians, including:

The Role: As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, general repairs and maintenance of our vehicles in a professional and safe manner.

  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Investigate faults and report findings accurately
  • Complete repairs to current manufacturer standards
  • Carry out general mechanical repairs and maintenance
  • Manage diagnostics and order parts effectively
  • Work efficiently and ensure repairs are completed right first time
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship
  • Work as part of a professional and supportive team

Skills & Experience: The following experience would be advantageous:

  • HGV mechanical experience
  • City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent mechanical qualification
  • IRTEC accreditation
  • Experience using modern vehicle diagnostic systems
  • Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV licence
