We are currently recruiting for our Client for an experienced Fabricator for ongoing workshop-based fabrication used in heavy-duty applications. This role involves precision fabrication of wear-resistant components designed for high-abrasion and high-impact environments.
Hours of Work:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm
Pay:
- Hourly rate of £15-17ph (DOE)
- Overtime Rate at X1.5
Scope of Work:
- Fabrication of materials and associated wear components
- Working with abrasion-resistant plate (AR steel), mild steel, and high-strength steels
- Cutting, forming, and fitting heavy plate and structural sections
- MIG and stick welding to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and specifications
- Maintaining quality, accuracy, and safe work practices
Key Requirements:
- Trade-qualified fabricator or equivalent experience
- Strong plate fabrication and welding skills
- Experience with wear materials or heavy duty equipment is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong focus on safety and workmanship
