We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team covering the IV, KW, PH, AB and DD postcode areas. This is a mobile position with some workshop-based PDI and repair work at the company's Inverness depot.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant/construction equipment on customer sites and at the company depot including:
- 0.75 tonne to 75 tonne
- 1 ton dumpers to 45 tonne ADTs
- Telehandlers
- Tracked dumpers
- Dozers
Job Description
- Carrying out service and repair work at various customer sites covering the areas IV, KW, PH, AB + DD
- Performing routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
- Some depot work based in Inverness carrying out PDIs and repairs
- Identifying, recording and rectifying defects
- Ensuring all work is completed to health & safety standards
- Accurately completing job reports and paperwork
- Attending breakdowns on customer sites
Requirements
- Must have experience working on plant/construction equipment and machinery
- Ability to work independently
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Must have the right to work in the UK (No sponsorship can be offered)
