Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that a leading client of ours within the Engineering Industry is now in the market for a Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor to join them at their HQ! The client is a well-established, leading figure within the Chemical industry, celebrating their 38th year of business! They specialize in the formulation, manufacture, and supply of their own label chemical products that are used in many different applications by leading clients within other industries. Due to the busy nature and continued growth they have consistently seen year on year, they are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor to help with the company’s forward motion.
This position is paying between £42k - £44k per year and offers working hours of 8:30 AM - 5 PM Monday to Thursday and 8:30 AM to 2 PM Friday! This is a 3-month Fixed Term Contract with the potential for an extension!
The main focus of the role is to ensure all plant and equipment are accurately maintained through strategic PPMS, so we are looking for a hands-on maintenance engineer with experience of working within a factory environment!
Job duties will include:
- Actioning maintenance and repairs to equipment and plant on site to ensure smooth operations.
- Actioning the installation of equipment, machinery, and plant on site to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring accurate records are kept for all assets.
- Checking the team’s work for technical accuracy.
- Coordinating work with other engineers.
The type of candidate they are looking for is:
- A skilled, hands-on Maintenance Engineer with 4 years + experience.
- Experienced working in a factory production environment.
- Health & Safety savvy.
- Experienced in PPMS.
- A team player who uses their initiative to think outside the box.
