We are currently recruiting for our Client for an experienced Fabricator required for ongoing workshop-based fabrication used in heavy-duty applications. This role involves precision fabrication of wear-resistant components designed for high-abrasion and high-impact environments.

Hours of Work

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
  • Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm

Pay

  • Hourly rate of £15-17ph (DOE)
  • Overtime Rate at X1.5

Scope of Work

  • Fabrication of materials and associated wear components
  • Working with abrasion-resistant plate (AR steel), mild steel, and high-strength steels
  • Cutting, forming, and fitting heavy plate and structural sections
  • MIG and stick welding to a high standard
  • Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and specifications
  • Maintaining quality, accuracy, and safe work practices

Key Requirements

  • Trade-qualified fabricator or equivalent experience
  • Strong plate fabrication and welding skills
  • Experience with wear materials or heavy duty equipment is highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong focus on safety and workmanship
