Venatu Automotive is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our valued client for the role of Shift Engineering Supervisor based at a well-established depot in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a PSV / HGV Engineer ready to step into leadership, or for someone who is already a supervisor looking for a new opportunity to make a real difference in a forward-thinking engineering environment.
The Role
- Overseeing the servicing and maintenance of the fleet to meet legal and safety standards
- Allocating daily workloads and managing reactive issues effectively
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing engineering team
- Ensuring optimal vehicle availability to meet service needs
- Managing workshop stock and supporting warranty claim processes
- Recording engineering performance and ensuring environmental compliance
- Working closely with operational teams to maintain service reliability
- Handling team performance matters, including conduct, absence, and training
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- PSV or HGV engineering background is highly desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence is a bonus – training can be provided)
- Sound knowledge of workshop safety and compliance
- Right to work in the UK
