As a Skilled Modular Joiner, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and assembling modular building elements to drawings and specifications
- Installing drywall partitions, flooring systems, and ceiling structures
- Working with light gauge steel panels and structural modular components
- Carrying out joinery, fabrication, and finishing tasks
- Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Supporting the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of modular structures
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production schedules
- Maintaining excellent standards of health & safety, housekeeping, and quality control
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within manufacturing, modular construction, or a similar production environment
- Practical experience in joinery, drywall installation, steel fabrication, or general construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong experience using hand tools and power tools
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work safely in a physically demanding role
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with MEWPs, fork trucks, or working at height would be beneficial but is not essential.
