Position Overview: C+E Driver required Monday to Friday for various contracts, weekends also can be offered. HGV Rates are as follows: From £16.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | ASAP.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled C+E driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtainside trailers, is highly desirable. The successful driver will be responsible for long-distance driving.

Start Location: Rawcliffe

Pay: £16 to £22 per hour (paid weekly)

Job Type: Full weeks bookings

Start Date: Immediate

Monday–Friday flexible start time but will be around 06:00 start depending on delivery or collection times.

40–60 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) with a C+E entitlement.
  • Experience in driving HGV with a minimum of two years.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR10, CD10, IN10).
