Venatu Recruitment is recruiting a reliable and hardworking 7.5T Driver / Installation Operative for a client. This temp-to-perm role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Drive 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles to customer sites across the UK.
- Deliver equipment, including commercial catering equipment, oversized units, and items with specialist delivery requirements.
- Position and unpack goods.
- Assist with installations.
- Provide excellent customer service as part of a two‑person delivery team.
- Work flexible hours; be prepared for early departures, extended working days, or late returns due to travel and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good level of physical fitness and manual handling ability.
- Professional and customer‑focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to accommodate early starts, longer working days, and occasional late evening returns when required.
- CSCS Card (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience in commercial deliveries, removals, installation work, or two‑person delivery operations.
- Counterbalance FLT experience (in‑date licence advantageous but not essential).
