We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Assistant to join a busy and friendly office team based in the DN4 area of Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts and administration experience who is looking for stable part-time hours with the potential to secure a permanent contract. This position is initially offered on a 6-month temporary basis, however there is a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, strong performance, and a positive attitude.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm
  • 30 hours per week
  • £13.25 per hour
  • Weekly pay every Friday
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract after 6 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices, payments, and purchase orders
  • Handling cash and reconciling transactions accurately
  • Using accounting software to maintain financial records
  • General administration and office support duties
  • Data entry and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Assisting with accounts queries and filing
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues professionally
  • Supporting the wider office team when required

Applicants must have

  • Previous administration experience
  • Experience using accounting software
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
