Established in 2003, Cumbrian Ales is one of the busiest and successful breweries in Cumbria. Located on the shores of Esthwaite Water between Hawkshead and Newby Bridge, we are looking for a hard working individual to join our amazing team.
This is a wide-ranging, entry level position that involves heavy manual work. We’re a small team where everyone is important and everyone needs to be flexible. The successful candidate will have an interest in beer and enjoy working in a small team on a variety of tasks to produce the highest quality beers.
Responsibilities:- Cleaning and filling of casks
- Tank cleaning
- Handling of chemicals for cleaning
- Daily checks on equipment in the brewery
- Ingredient picking and stock checking
- Dispatching & delivering orders to customers – packing boxes, loading pallets
- Monitoring, testing and transferring the beer
- Quality control
- Delivering when required
- General assistance and housekeeping around the brewery
- Have a positive, can-do attitude with a flexible approach
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Be interested in beer and willing to learn more
- Capable of physical work
- Full & clean driving licence
- Have a super keen attention to detail
- 28 days holiday per annum
- 3 to 5 days per week
