The Challenge
- Assist with the running of the parts department, helping customers with their parts enquiries, and providing expert advice on commercial vehicle parts.
- Accurately identify parts using parts catalogues and industry systems.
- Process Orders, ensuring correct parts are supplied in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments such as the workshop and external suppliers to source parts.
- Maintain stock levels, carry out inventory checks, and manage incoming deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone, building strong client relationships.
- Keep up to date with the latest in product lines, technology, and industry trends.
The Day to Day
Alternate Shifts: Early: Mon – Fri: 06:00 – 15:30 Late: Mon – Fri: 10:30 – 20:00. Sat: 08:00 – 12:00 (Sat paid at overtime)
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a Parts Advisor or similar role, ideally within the commercial vehicles sector.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles parts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer first attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong IT skills and experience using parts catalogues, stock management and ordering systems.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Problem solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Natural ability to sell to customers.
- Self-motivated to work on own initiative.
You’ll really hit the ground running if you have
- Experience working with the Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks product.
- Experience working within a Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks dealership.
- Forklift Driver or HGV Drivers licence.
