    As one of our technicians, you will be able…

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks and vans to DVSA standards
  • Performing diagnostic tests to identify faults and fix mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet DVSA standards and health and safety requirements.
  • Keep up to date with all relevant DVSA and product developments.
  • Receptive to training and participate in ongoing development and continuous improvement.
  • Support and mentor our apprentices.
  • Complete work directed by the Shift Supervisor, Workshop Controller or Dealer Point Manager.

    We have a variety of shifts available which we can discuss with you on interview:

    Rotating Shifts

  • Early/late shift rotation: 06:00-15:30 Monday-Thursday, Friday 06:00-14:30
  • Late: 12:30-22:00 Monday-Thursday, Friday 12:30-21:00
  • Permanent late shift: 44 hours- 12:30-22:00 Monday-Thursday, Friday 12:30-21:00 Or: 40 hours- Monday – Friday 12:30-21:00
  • Night Shift

  • Option 1 – 40 hours, Monday- Thursday 20:00-06:30
  • Option 2 40 hours Tuesday -Friday 22:00-06:30
  • Option 3 – 50 hours Monday – Friday 20:00-06:30
  • A workshop breakdown rota is also available on discussion in the interview stage

    What we’re looking for…

  • Qualified HGV Technician (City and Guilds level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) – related to Commercial Vehicles
  • An Efficient, neat technician with proven experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining LCVs and HGVs.
  • Your own set of tools – but we’ll give you an allowance.
  • A valid and clean driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
  • Main Dealer experience
  • You’ll really hit the ground running if you have…
